Plain-language privacy information for JalWater Water Risk Report enquiries.
This notice covers the first real customer enquiry workflow. It does not approve a database, CRM, analytics, payments, authentication, or tracking.
When you request a Water Risk Report or submit feedback, JalWater may collect name, email, optional phone, optional organisation, city, district, property or society context if provided, use case, message, correction or feedback text, source page context, privacy acceptance, browser or device information available to the server, IP address or hosting logs, referrer, submission timestamp, JalWater version, and email communications.
The information is collected only to respond to the request, assess whether official information is available, prepare a quote or report if applicable, review corrections, protect the request workflow from abuse, and maintain operational records for the enquiry.
Do not submit Aadhaar, bank details, card or payment information, government ID numbers, passwords, precise live location, children's data, medical information, religious or caste information, or other sensitive personal information. JalWater does not ask for WhatsApp recipient information and does not control WhatsApp or Meta processing when you choose to share externally.
This MVP does not store customer requests in a JalWater database. Requests are sent to the configured JalWater email inbox when delivery is enabled. Email and hosting logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for enquiry handling, security, audit, and legal purposes, then deleted or archived according to operator policy.
JalWater does not sell customer request information and does not use it for advertising resale. The MVP does not include CRM ingestion, payments, authentication, or a customer database. Vercel Analytics may collect privacy-conscious aggregate web metrics where enabled by the deployment.
For access, correction, deletion, withdrawal, no-further-contact, privacy questions, or grievance requests, contact JalWater through the published request or corrections channel. Until a dedicated privacy address is confirmed, use corrections@jalwater.in and include 'Privacy request' in the subject.
You may ask JalWater to access, correct, delete, or stop using information you submitted, subject to legitimate operational, legal, security, and audit needs. You may also withdraw consent for further contact about an enquiry.
JalWater keeps the MVP simple and limits collection to what is needed for the request. No method of email or internet transmission is perfectly secure, so users should avoid submitting sensitive information.
